Meet the Director

Hi! My name is Alisha, and I am thrilled to serve as the director at The Ark Kids Academy. I am a Child Development Practitioner with expertise in working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Additionally, I have a strong passion for coordinating curricula for early childhood programs and providing coaching for teachers in preparation for CLASS observations.

More About our director

Experience

I have been working in Child Development since 2016, which will mark my 10th year this year in 2026! I have been acquainted with the Abeka program for 10 years and the Frogstreet program for 4 years. I intend to integrate both programs to create a highly effective school readiness curriculum.

Education

I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the University of Florida, along with over 72 hours of continued education.
